How do I order an animal from Mawashi Masr?

Are taxes added to the prices?
No. Livestock is exempt from VAT in Egypt. The price you see is the price you pay, and no hidden fees are added at checkout.
Do you deliver to all 27 governorates of Egypt?
Yes, we deliver to every governorate without exception. Delivery to Greater Cairo, Alexandria and the Delta usually takes 24 hours, and to Upper Egypt, Matrouh and Sinai 24 to 48 hours.
Is halal slaughter under veterinary supervision available?
Yes. Halal slaughter is carried out under veterinary supervision in a slaughterhouse licensed by the Ministry of Agriculture, and the meat is cut to your preference (quarters, eighths, minced, slices). This service is optional and appears on the animal's page if the seller has enabled it.
When can I cancel an order or return an animal?
You can cancel free of charge while the order is still 'Awaiting confirmation'. After delivery you have 24 hours to check the animal, and if it differs materially from the listing you can return it for a full refund.
Are dollar prices fixed on the platform?
The dollar rate is updated every hour from the Central Bank of Egypt to show an approximate price. When you confirm an order, we lock the rate at that moment so the price does not change until the order is delivered.
How is an animal's health checked?
Every approved farm on the platform must provide a recent vet record for each animal (vaccinations, tests, age, weight). The platform's vet reviews these records before the listing is shown to buyers.
Can I sell my animals on the platform as an individual?
Yes. Any registered user can list animals for sale for free from the free listing page. We verify the seller and automatically set up a personal farm page so the listing is shown neatly to buyers.
